Teacher Training
Step past your own mat and learn to hold a room. A small-group training with Grace on Koh Phangan — to deepen your practice, find your teaching voice, and walk away certified and ready.
A note on availability. Grace's work right now is private 1:1 Spiritual Alchemy, held online worldwide. The practice described on this page is part of how she teaches and what she draws on in a session, but it isn't currently offered as a public class you can book a place in. If it's what drew you here, say hello and tell her — it can absolutely be woven into a 1:1.
Grace runs small-group teacher training on Koh Phangan — a chance to deepen your own practice, learn the foundations of teaching and sequencing, and become someone who can hold a safe and caring space. Certification is offered on completion. Because format and timing change with each intake, message Grace for current dates, curriculum and certification details.
Who teacher training is for
This is for the person who has felt yoga do something real for them and quietly wondered if they could carry that to other people. Maybe you've been practising for years. Maybe you teach already and want to refine. Maybe you have no plan to teach a public class at all, and you just want to understand the practice from the inside out. All of those are welcome here.
You don't need to be the most flexible person in the room or able to hold a perfect headstand. What matters more is curiosity, a steady-ish personal practice, and a willingness to be a beginner again. If your foundation feels shaky, a season of regular yin and all-levels classes with Grace is a good runway into a training.
What you'll explore
Training begins close to home: your own practice. Before you ever guide anyone else, you spend time feeling shapes from the inside, noticing what your body is actually doing, and softening the habits you didn't know you had. From there the work opens outward into the craft of teaching — how a class is shaped, why one pose follows another, and how to read a room rather than recite a script.
Stillness threads through it all. Grace weaves in the meditation and breathwork that give a class its depth, and the deep rest of yoga nidra, so you learn to hold quiet as carefully as you hold movement. The exact shape of the curriculum shifts with each group, which is the point — it stays alive rather than fixed.
Learning to hold space
Ask anyone who has practised with Grace what they remember and it's rarely a clever cue. It's the feeling of being safe enough to let go. That feeling isn't an accident, and it isn't a personality trait you either have or don't. It's a skill — built from presence, attention, and the small, unglamorous choices that make a person trust you with their nervous system.
So a real part of this training is learning to create that safety on purpose: how to set a tone, how to hold a group without performing, how to stay grounded when someone in front of you is moving through something. You'll have mentorship from Grace as you practise it, with honest feedback offered gently. It's the same care she brings to a 1:1 healing session, taught rather than just witnessed.
Training on Koh Phangan
People don't end up on Koh Phangan by accident. For decades this small Thai island has pulled in those who want to slow down, train, and come out the other side a little different. There's warm air, birdsong, the sea never far off, and a community that takes inner work seriously. It's hard to overstate how much that setting does for a training — when daily life falls away, the practice has room to land.
That's why people travel here to train rather than do it at home in stolen weekends. You step out of your routine and into something immersive, surrounded by others doing the same. To learn more about Grace and the lineage behind the teaching, read her story, browse the reviews from past students, or simply reach out when the timing feels right.
What the training includes
“Wow! What a powerful week of transformation! It reminds me of how I felt after my nidra training. Thank you Grace for holding the space and everyone for creating a loving and supportive collective energy.”

Questions about teacher training
Do I need to be an experienced yogi to train?
A steady personal practice helps, but you don't need to be advanced. Much of the training is about deepening what you already have. If you'd like to build a stronger base first, a stretch of regular yin and all-levels classes is a good place to begin. When you're ready, message Grace and she'll tell you honestly whether the timing is right for you.
Will I be certified at the end?
Yes — certification is offered on completion, and the graduates in our photos are holding the certificates to prove it. For the exact format, hours and accreditation details, message Grace directly, since these can vary from one training to the next.
When does the next training run, and what does it cost?
Dates, group size and pricing change with each intake, so rather than list something that goes stale, Grace shares current details one-to-one. Send her a message with where you're at and what you're hoping for, and she'll walk you through what's coming up.
Is the training only about teaching others?
Not at all. Plenty of people train mostly to go deeper for themselves, and they leave changed whether or not they ever lead a class. The skill of holding space is just as useful in a private setting or in everyday life. If you're not on the island, the Into Me See journey is another way to deepen.
Train where you'll actually change
Dates, format, curriculum and certification are shared one-to-one. Message Grace to hear what's coming up.
